Cookie Policy
This policy explains how 107.design ("107", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://107.design (the "Site"), in line with the EU ePrivacy Directive, the GDPR, and the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). It works together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, which works like a cookie but lives in your browser's storage area rather than being sent with every request. We use both, so "cookies" below should be read as covering both.

3. Third-party requests that are not cookies
When you load the Site, your browser requests fonts (Google Fonts, Fontshare) and a JavaScript library (Lenis, served by jsDelivr) from third-party CDNs. These requests don't set cookies on this site. The providers may log standard request data under their own policies — see our Privacy Policy for links.
4. Your consent (region-based)
Whether we ask for consent depends on where you are, because different privacy laws take different approaches:
Outside the United States (GDPR / ePrivacy / PECR)
When you first visit the Site from outside the US, a banner asks you to choose between:
- "Accept analytics" — we load Google Analytics; usage data is collected as described above.
- "Essential only" — Google Analytics is never loaded. The Site works exactly the same; we just lose the usage statistics.
Consent is stored in your browser (107.consent). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
- Click "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice;
- Clear your browser's cookies and site data, which also resets the banner;
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat that as an opt-out and never load analytics.
Inside the United States (CCPA/CPRA opt-out model)
US privacy law does not require opt-in consent for analytics cookies, so we do not show the banner to US visitors. Google Analytics loads automatically. Instead, we honor the opt-out rights the law gives you:
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, analytics is never loaded;
- You can ask us at any time to stop analytics processing by emailing work@107.design — we'll honor it and won't treat you differently for it;
- We do not sell or share your personal information (see the Privacy Policy), so there is nothing further to opt out of.
Region is determined locally in your browser from your device's timezone — no IP address is sent to any geolocation service. If you're traveling or use a VPN and want to force the other experience, append ?region=us or ?region=eu to any page URL.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers let you see, block, or delete cookies and site data. The "help" section of your browser, or these official guides, will show you how:
Blocking all cookies may affect how the Site behaves (for example, the gated case-study unlock relies on local storage).

We'll update this policy if the technologies we use change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
